1. What is SCC Connection?
The SCC Connection is a web interface to the SCC student database.
It is designed to deliver real-time information to your desktop via your web browser.
 
2. Who Can Use the SCC Connection?
The SCC Connection is available to applicants, students and faculty.
You may also log on as a guest to access course availability during open registration periods.
 
3. Which browsers can I use with SCC Connection?
The SCC Connection will operate effectively with Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.
 
4. Why can't I login to the SCC Connection?
To login you must have been issued an SCC Connection ID and password.
Please review the instructions on how to obtain to obtain a login and password.
If you have a valid user ID and password and still cannot login - contact the Help Desk at 636-922-8555.
 
5. Why can't I access certain SCC Connection screens?
If you have successfully logged in but still can not access certain screens, it may be for one of the following reasons:

6. Why am I getting a slow response after I click the SUBMIT button?
Increased use of the system during peak periods or at the beginning or end of the semester can lead to slower response times.
During these times many students are accessing the system and sharing limited resources, thereby slowing response time.
Also conducting broad searches for classes can slow response time.
Performance can be greatly improved by narrowing your searches.
 
7. How do I print a form/page using my browser?
You can print any web page from the SCC Connection using the print function on your browser.
Some pages will be more legible if you print them using landscape orientation.
 
8. Does SCC Connection leave a "cookie" on my desktop to support its navigation?
The SCC Connection puts a session cookie on your desktop when you log into the system.
When you close your browser, the cookie is erased.
